Warranty
Mestric Guitars – Limited Warranty
1. Introduction
Every Mestric Guitar is built with care, precision, and the intention that it will be played, loved, and relied upon for decades. This warranty outlines the protections available to customers both within Australia and internationally. The warranty applies only to instruments purchased directly from Mestric Guitars or from an authorised Mestric Guitars dealer.
2. Warranty for Australian Customers
2.1 Coverage
Mestric Guitars warrants that each new instrument purchased in Australia is free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non‑transferable.
2.2 What Is Covered
During the warranty period, Mestric Guitars will, at its discretion:
- Repair the instrument
- Replace the instrument with one of equal or greater value
- Refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible
Coverage applies to defects arising from normal use, including structural issues, hardware or electronic failures, or faults in materials.
2.3 What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (including fret wear, finish ageing, patina development, or relic wear)
- Cosmetic characteristics inherent to the intentional ageing process
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper storage, or accidents
- Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications
- Environmental damage (humidity, heat, cold, rapid climate changes)
- Setups, adjustments, or routine maintenance
- Strings, batteries, or consumable parts
Because Mestric Guitars are intentionally aged, cosmetic variations and wear patterns are part of the design and not considered defects.

- Provide proof of purchase.
- Contact Mestric Guitars for authorisation.
- Return the instrument to Mestric Guitars or an authorised service centre.

2.5 Australian Consumer Law – Mandatory Statement
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits provided under this warranty are in addition to your rights and remedies under the ACL.
