The Foundational Run

The Foundational Run is ten instruments — numbered, built individually, and launched at the Sydney Guitar Show in March 2026. Each one is different.

Two models make up the run: the M6064 (alder body, rosewood fingerboard, mint green pickguard) and the M5456 (ash body, one-piece maple neck and fingerboard, white pickguard). Both are built the same way — nitrocellulose lacquer, hand-wound pickups, Gotoh hardware aged by hand.

Whilst drawing inspiration in regard to the materials and aesthetic of the 1950s and '60s, these aren't bound to be exact reproductions of specific vintage guitars or year models. Rather, they are a distillation of everything the builder admires in a vintage instrument, combined with modern building techniques and hard-earned knowledge of how to produce an exceptional playing, sounding and looking guitar. And they feel like an old friend from day one.
